I don’t know how I’m supposed to promote, organize and fundraise for a nice art show right now.
We are being murdered in the streets by our own government.
The most powerful people on the planet have been revealed and it's as bad, if not worse than we could have expected.
We are all experiencing and watching it happen through our dumb little screens.
We are all trapped in the anxiety of what happens next. Or even worse, what it means if nothing happens next.
They want business as usual.
I’m not going to do it.

CALL FOR WORK IS OPEN
I am calling for artists and folks who have something to say about this bulls***
I am requesting works in any medium that reflect the moment we are in.
Please contribute your hopes, your despair, your rage, your defiance in any medium and at any scale.
You do not have to be an artist (whatever that even means) to contribute to this exhibition. Consider your poetry, your protest signs, your banners and whatever I’m not thinking of.
New media works will require your own tech to project or present audio.
What I am not Requesting
I will not platform violence against anyone for any reason.
(If you simp for authoritarians and send me your bulls*** don’t anticipate a response)
DETAILS
The exhibition has been de-monitized.
There are no submission fees, commissions on sales, cash prizes, sponsors or other expenses to artists associated with the exhibition this year. Artists may sell their work but I would request that they consider a donation to a worthy cause.
Accepting submissions on a rolling basis until March 1st
