Ongoing solo exhibition of Aidan Sofia Earle DISCARD//RESTORE will be up in the gallery. Earle has worked professionally as a textile dyer and painter for fashion and film, a puppet and prop designer/builder on SNL and Broadway, and as a preparator - managing and installing museum/gallery art collections.These experiences have informed her approach to her own art practice employing a wide range of materials and techniques. Interested in themes of reuse, repurposing of single-use materials, human accumulation, and handmade intervention- the work is often dense, handsewn, and colorful. Exhibitions runs Friday August 26th - September 10th
