Intro to Collaboration

  • The Yards Collective 50-52 Public Market Way Rochester, NY 14609 United States (map)

Are you interested in collaborating with others amongst your social life, art work, business endeavors, or civic advocacy? This playful workshop will explore the process of group work skills through a series of creative activities lead by local social artist Ray Ray Mitrano.

Participants will be challenged with embracing interruptions, reacting thematically to each other, and integrating their individual decisions through a sequence of drawing games and relational exercises. All levels of art experience are not only encouraged, but necessary in making this exercise valuable for the group as a whole.

Bring an open mind willing to experiment together in a safe space. No experience in anything prior needed.

All ages friendly and welcome to the sounds of children. Parents are welcome to bring kids in care along. A table with some paper and crayons will be nearby.

ASL provided upon request.

"Let's think about the things people do well, but when it comes to doing them with others they get stuck." - a past workshop participant
