The Yards Collective is a collaborative art space founded in 2011 by strong female-identifying makers who wanted to offer a supportive and inclusive space for artists. With this central principle in mind, The Yards Collective now operates under a dedicated director with the support of gritty volunteers who together realize the vision of a community of makers developing connections with each other and art appreciators through a high quality of craft. The Yards Collective provides Rochester with a usable, affordable, and accessible art space. We’d love to have you join our community of creatives, artists and art appreciators are welcome!

Track lighting, fresh drywall, spackle, paint and so many more consumables go into creating an inspiring environment and a blank slate for each new artist to reinvent.
