Threads of Me and You

  • The Yards Collective 50-52 Public Market Way Rochester, NY 14609 United States (map)

Threads of Me and You began as my own story of transformation: breaking free from a lifetime of being contained by "shoulds" and limitations, unraveling the patterns that shaped me, and reweaving myself into the woman I was meant to be. While our individual experiences are unique, the same threads that weave my story are universal threads of what it means to be human. This exhibition transforms one personal narrative into a collective exploration across three thematic arcs.

The exhibition is co-curated by Laura Nespoli and artist Elizabeth Rossi. Programming inside the exhibit includes Story for Strength workshops, a learning session on how to tell your professional or artists story, and a fundraising Meshin Meal benefiting Girls on the Run Greater Rochester, June 25.

Laura shares “I believe story has the power to connect and transform us. With meaning as my medium, everything I do — from writing, to speaking, to curating immersive art experiences and narrative meals — is grounded in my purpose: to unite people and inspire movement through story.”

On View Through June 27th, 2026.
