Join us for First Friday; our gallery and studio spaces will be open to the public!
THAWWW
This annual exhibition gathers works that explore the more difficult aspects of being an artist. We frame this idea through the shared experience of winter. THAWWW is about the isolation of the cold gray months, the things we make when we turn inward and the works that grow from rest.
In its third year at The Yards Art Collective, THAWWW is a deeply interactive group exhibition where the viewer engages the space through opportunities to affect the space. By sharing ideas, imagery, sound and light the viewer becomes a contributor to the experience. One way we accomplish this is through our four awards, voted on entirely by those who come to view the exhibition.
