This First Friday please join us for an exhibition of art by RIT students from the College of Art & Design to benefit Willow Center. Amplify Hope is the theme of the evening with dozens of pieces on display from a variety of mediums including paint, sculpture, and light. Willow Center serves over 8,000 survivors of domestic violence each year.  The Amplify Hope campaign, launched in October 2022 as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, brings the hope of a brighter, safer future to survivors of domestic violence.

Artworks are available for purchase, with half the proceeds going toward the Willow Center's mission of preventing domestic violence and supporting survivors. Reception attendees are also encouraged to bring Pop-Tarts to donate to kids.

The range of featured pieces includes ceramics, metals and jewelry, painting, printmaking, sculpture and more.

First Friday is a monthly citywide gallery night that encourages collaboration between art venues in Rochester, NY. This initiative showcases area artists and smaller arts institutions by promoting the First Friday evening of each month from 6-9pm as a community night for experiencing art. First Friday ensures a healthy art scene and a healthy city through regular exchange between venues, artists and patrons.
