Workshop - Writing Through the Pandemic

Do you have a story to tell about the pandemic? Flour City Readings at The Yards presents a writing workshop.

The pandemic comes with built-in drama. The last two years have changed everyone’s life -- some more drastically than others. Our stories from this historic time will not grow old, and we need to chronicle them.

Perhaps you’ve put off writing about it because the pandemic is all you’ve thought about, and you’ve understandably sought escape. Or perhaps you’ve felt so isolated you’re tired of another solitary act.

On Tuesday, March 29th, Geoff Graser will be leading a generative writing workshop to help us tell our stories. The workshop will provide time and space to get your pandemic-related stories down on the page. We will offer writing prompts to help you take advantage of our time together. You can write either nonfiction or tell a fictionalized version. You need no experience as a published writer. Just bring your passion for telling your story. And something to write on.

This is a vaccination-required workshop. Proof of vaccination with picture ID will be required.
