Join us in celebrating the release of Lake Affect Magazine’s November issue, Volume 60! Lake Affect Magazine has been showcasing the art and creativity of upstate New York for nearly thirty years with their bi-annual fine arts publication. We are excited to be collaborating with them through our ongoing partnership with smallMatters Institute.

The release event will take place this First Friday, November 4th from 5-9pm in the gallery space. Come pick up your copy of Lake Affect Magazine Vol. 60*, see and hear from the contributors of this issue, and learn more about the social impact work of smallMatters Institute. On display are works featured in the issue, art by Yards community members, and Lake Affect’s collection Imagining Sports. Imagining Sports blends the worlds of fine art and community sports into a celebration of the varied passions and talents found throughout the region.

Available to the first attendees are limited edition prints created by Yards Collective members. These commemorative pieces were created from deconstructed past issues of Lake Affect Magazine.

With sounds from Stephe of Muck Duck Studios and refreshments from vendors at The Rochester Public Market, there’s bound to be something for everyone!
