Results of Jim Mott’s 2021 NYSCA Project, Life Studies, along with related
paintings from his 2018 Rochester Landscape Lottery and a 2015 trip to
Ferguson Missouri will be on display. Life Studies is a collection of paintings and
stories based on collaborative sketch outings with a young mother of color from
NW Rochester, Sonja Rosario Belliard, and representing places of significance to
her life.
