Ugly Art and Bad Poetry: The Joy of Imperfection

Ugly Art and Bad Poetry: The Joy of Imperfection

Same night as Food Truck Rodeo- Arrive early!!

Join Molly Elizabeth, artist and creative mentor behind The Darling Rage and Nancy Pigno for an evening of creative fun!

Is perfectionism stopping you from getting started? Is it getting in the way of your process? Come to this workshop, play with materials and learn strategies for putting perfectionism in its place. In the words of Elizabeth Gilbert, “...perfectionism is just fear in fancy shoes and a mink coat,” Perfectionism can roar to life before you even start something, preventing you from attempting something new, it can fill you with anxiety during the process and it can straight up beat you up for being a human being. We will establish a perfectionism-free zone as we play with various media and develop and learn strategies to keep your inner-perfectionist quiet. (Open to all, artists and non-artists alike.)

Buy tickets in our online store for $15!
