The Yards Collective is thrilled to be celebrating our 8th year in operation! Please join us October 18th and 19th for a very special 24-hour art event. This year we are raising funds to make some much needed improvements to the space, develop resources for programming and offer more scholarships for emerging artists to have exhibitions and partake in our Collaborative Residency Program.

Here’s a little bit about the event. =] Starting off the night will be a silent auction from 6-9 pm. You can bid on some sweet one-of-a-kind pieces of art, jewelry, gift baskets, gift cards and other swag from a wide variety of local businesses.

Starting at 9:30 pm we will have performances from Small Signals, Boy Jr., and Moses Rockwell. Our MC for the evening will be the talented and entertaining Mal Whitfield. The night will continue into a dance party with groovy hip-hop beats by Daggz followed by some house & techno rhythms by a special guest to be announced. To wind down we will close out the night with some ambient sound as we transition into one of our favorite light hearted art filled movies, “Unicorn Store”.

We are starting Saturday morning off right with an early bird buffet style brunch. Vegan options will be available as well as coffee from our dear friends downstairs at Java's Cafe! We will continue celebrating through Saturday with Market Hours from 10am-2pm, followed by collaborative activities, and of course, the final chance to bid on silent auction items. Last year we had folks bidding right up to the close of the event, eager to support the space and go home with some goodies!!!
